She Rests, She Rises: : An International Women’s Day Gathering for Movement, Rest and Reflection

Join Megan and Britt for an empowering morning at She Rests, She Rises; An International Women’s Day Gathering for Movement, Rest and Reflection.

This experience is designed to help women reconnect with their bodies, slow down, and honor their strength—inside and out.

What’s in the workshop?

45-Minute Movement Session with Britt:
Led by certified fitness coach Britt MacKinnon, this full-body bodyweight workout focuses on functional movement that translates directly into real life. You’ll move, squat, push, and stabilize using just your body — building strength, mobility, and confidence without intimidation. Perfect for beginners and seasoned movers alike, Britt will offer personalized cues and modifications so you leave feeling capable, strong, and connected to your body.

45-Minute Yoga Session with Megan:
Explore an embodied yoga practice designed to slow the body and mind guided by movement instructor Megan Prenty. This gentle Asana class uses breath work and mindfulness to promote a sense of rest, relaxation and connection to self.

30- Minute Reflection Group Session:

A community-created conversation among participants will be led by Britt and Megan. We hope for this time to be an opportunity to connect, reflect and share in a circle among other women in our community.
