Revisiting Rocket

Rocket 2: Event Recap

A huge thank you to our community who came and playfully joined us as we explored the full Rocket 2: 90-minute sequence today.

Rocket 2 is based on the Ashtanga primary series and focuses on back bends and lots of arm balances. What a silly, sweaty and great way to spend a Saturday morning.

Launching forward 🚀

Rocket reminds us that it is a practice of repetition and encourages us to adapt to our present capacity. This year we’ve refined our approach to our Rocket-inspired programming to better reflect our values of community, accessibility, and liberation both on the mat and in business.

We’ve returned to the roots of the Rocket Practice and hosted two 90-minute events to explore the traditional set Rocket 1 & 2 sequences. As we expand our programming and community, we continue to refine our process to ensure our work remains accessible, sustainable, and community-oriented.

Adapting the Green Bottle Method, we’ve introduced sliding-scale pricing options for our 90-minute Rocket sequences.

Additionally, our Rocket programming now reflects a non-profit-inspired model. Proceeds from our Rocket Yoga 90-minute sequence events will offset the costs incurred by our free community Rocket holiday party.

These changes are intended to foster multiple points of financial access for community members.

Save The Date:

The Rocket Holiday Party is a free community event. All are welcome to join us to move, snack and chat.

We will move through a 60 min “bottle rocket” practice followed by a community social where we can enjoy tunes, snacks and each other.

Sign-up & registration coming this fall. Until then, please mark your calendar.

We are so grateful to you, our wonderful community of people, who move with us and support us in this work.

We hope to see you on the mat soon.
